Originally born in Australia, Gavin Ralph Barker spent six years in the Australian army, including operations in Indonesia.
He then travelled the world for a year before settling in London for a few years working as an Engineer.
He is now settled in Oslo, Norway where he lives with his Norwegian fiance, their one year old son and the cat Lucifer.
Gavin is a spiritual person; a lot of his work is inspired by the eternal question of life and death and the survival of the spirit and the human body.
Gavin is a natural talent, except some technical drawing in connection with his Engineering education, has never had any drawing classes. He draws the natural way, and prefers working with oils, Pencils and Charcoal.
